When i was an elementary, level grade one to be exact, I was so curious with everything. one day I heard my teacher speaking in english language, and i was curious about how she was able to speak in english fluently. I was wondering if ever i can do it also or is it possible that i can talk and understand english language.
Moreover, we had an occasion that time when I heard my aunt singing in a videoke and she sang 'Terrified' as far as I remember. By that time, I was amazed not because of her voice, but because of how she pronounce the english lyrics. After that I started wondering and daydreaming again of speaking english language.
Before I thought that it was impossible for me to learn english language. I thought it was the most difficult challenge that I could experience. That time, I am not able to read english language, that's why I think that way.
But because of my curiosity, I study hard. I tried to learn reading english language, I even asked my mother, my aunt, and even my grandfather to teach me how to read in english. By the time, I was so glad that I can gradually learned how to read in english although I cannot able to comprehend well about what I'm reading. But I started to read tagalog to english stories and there, I learned how to comprehend little by little.
As i grew up, I realize that learning english language was not impossible. It's not that difficult if you study hard. We all need is dedication and read and read until you can achieve your goal. Now I am confident that I've overcome my curiosity, because I can now write, speak, sing, and comprehend english language. Not that deep but enough to understand things.
