My college life was peaceful, not until janice transferred to our school. She is the daughter of our school dean, Mr. Montemayor. When I first saw Janice I can say that she was a spoiled brat she doesn't want someone to get ahead of her.
So one day, while our professor is announcing our scores for the examinations, Janice suddenly throw me a death glared. I can see the anger on her eyes. When our professor left the room, Janice immediately got up and went straight to my chair.
"how dare you bi***" Janice shouted at me as she come near me. "what's wrong with you Janice?" I calmly asked. "are you cheating Summer? because it is impossible that you get a higher scores than mine" she's accusing me for something that i didn't do, while her finger are pointing straight to me.
Her friends laugh loudly as they drag Janice away from me. When my eyes could no longer see them, I instantly stood up to go to the cafeteria to eat.
While eating alone in the cafeteria, I was startled when someone whispered something to me out of the blue. When I heard what she whispered at me, I immediately feel terrified.
"someone is planning to kill you, Summer" she whispered.
I was so surprised when I saw who whispered at me. It's Aurora, she is one of my blockmate who doesn't socialize with anyone. You can only hear her voice once in a blue moon. After that scenario she left me dumbfounded.
After that I went home anxious my mommy immediately asked me.
"Hey love, are you all right?" I just nodded as an answer. My dad go nears me and touches my forehead to check my body temperature. "I'm okay dad and mom, I'm just tired" I told them with a smile so that they will stop worrying about me. After that i went to my room and fall asleep.
The next morning, my professor told me to go to school early, because she have something to discuss with me. And I guess it's all about the incoming activities in our school. I am the president in our university so, I knew it already. When I arrive at the school, I saw Janice and her friends laughing. When Janice saw me her brows immediately rose, and I can see her creepy smirk at me.
I walk fast, bending my head as our path cross. But I was taken a back when they abruptly took hold of me cover my mouth, and pulled me up the stairs that led to the rooftop. they drag me to the ground as soon as we get to the rooftop. I felt pain in my palm and notice blood in it.
Janice and her friends laugh while watching me crying.
"You are the reason why my father can't be proud of me anymore!" she yells at me, and she immediately slapped me so hard.
I sobbed. I can feel the numbness of my cheek because of her strong slap.
"Please Janice let me go! that's not true" I yelled at her, while sobbing.
" let you go? No way!" she laughed.
"This is the end of your life Summer. Goodbye!" this is the last word I heard after she pushed me to the rooftop.
I was somewhat nervous when I woke up. I was sweating, my hands are shaking, and i can feel my heart thumping. And then I realize it was just a nightmare. "For god's sake what why does everything feel so real?"
I stood up and decided to take a bath to calm myself.
As i take a bath, I feel as if someone is telling me that my nightmare will come true. That I need to do it firstbefore she can do it to me. I grinned afterwards.
After I showered, I immediately hurried to school. When I got at school I immediately look for Janice. And when I saw her in the hallway going to the rooftop, I broke into a huge smile.
I quietly follow her, and when she get close to the stairs leading up to the rooftop, I immediately drag her up till we reach the roof of the building.
"What the heck is wrong with you Summer!" she immediately yield at me as I pushed her down the ground. I slapped her so hard like what she did to me in my nightmare. I just smirk at her as I heard her sobbing. It's like a music to my ears.
As I watch her crying, I can hear again the whisper of someone that I cannot see nor touch.
"Push and kill her now summer! before she can kill you first" I glared at Janice who is in panicked right now.
" someone help me!" janice shouted.
While I was getting closer in to her, she was gradually being pushed back until she reach the end of the rooftop, where she could fall with just one push.
I giggled when I saw her nervous face I am enjoying her reactions right now. I laugh softly while I cares her hair down to her chin. I can feel her shaking while I'm holding her chin, and I heard the whisper of someone in my head again and again.
"Kill her now!"
"Push her now!"
"Do it now, Summer!"
After that I pushed her and I watch her as she fall down to the ground. I saw the parts of her body even her blood spread out. And after that I felt someone pricked my arm and I immediately fell asleep.
When I opened my eyes from sleeping, I saw a white ceiling, white wall, and a white bed sheet, where i am laying down right now. I am wearing a hospital gown and I saw my two hands being tied against my hospital bed.
"No I'm not crazy! I'm not crazy!" I yell again and again, and then I saw a girl in a uniform goes near me.
"Hey Summer, be a good girl it's time to drink your medicine" The doctor said with a smile.
After 5 months, Dr. Sandy explain everything to me. Now I know that I am just imagining things. And all of the scenario that I thought is true is just my imagination. It is because before I am fighting with my mental illness. But, thank you to Dr. Sandy for her patience and care towards me. And to my parents in heaven who is watching throughout my journey, I miss you mom and dad! This is Summer Montefalco, and this is my story, The end.
